Redwood Creations, founded in 1987, is in the business of producing a variety of handcrafted redwood furniture and picnic tables. Each piece is custom made to order from hand- selected clear-heart and con-heart redwood and built and designed for comfort and lasting durability. Our products are sold to retail stores nationwide and featured in campgrounds and businesses in the Lake Tahoe area. Our mission is to provide innovative, practical and top-quality products that will add beauty and elegance to anyone's outdoor living lifestyle. Our products are extremely durable and will last for years with only minimal care and maintenance. Here at Redwood Creations, we have the utmost respect and appreciation for the beauty and majesty of

the old growth redwoods. You can be confident that all of the redwood used in our products comes from

only managed forests which are second growth, grown specifically for commercial use.

Stain vs. no-stain

You may request that your order be shipped unfinished. Redwood may be painted, stained or left untreated to weather to a driftwood gray. To keep your high quality investment protected against the natural elements and to maintain and deepen its rich red hues, we reccomend that you finish the furniture with a quality oil base stain shortly after assembly. Finish and care instructions are included with each order.
